IAAP Strategic Plan
Essential to the growth and evolution of any organization is a strategic plan that establishes a vision for the future and measurable goals and objectives to help guide decisions and activities. Over the course of one year, we have gathered input from IAAP’s Board of Directors and other members, ensuring that our strategic direction is guided by a wide range of perspectives.
Raise the recognition and use of applied psychology to increase our influence on global development initiatives.
Here's how:
- Establish a cross-divisional advocacy advisory group to identify priority stakeholders and inform outreach materials and approaches.
- Develop a robust advocacy strategy to demonstrate the value of applied psychology in enhancing policy effectiveness, especially in areas related to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global challenges.
- Create and distribute educational content tailored to prioritized stakeholder groups, outlining the relevance and applications of applied psychology in diverse contexts.
- Build strategic partnerships across different UN entities, government sectors, other intergovernmental agencies, associations, and private organizations focused on SDGs to integrate applied psychology into their work.
Increase the number and diversity
