Elections
IAAP will hold several elections leading up to the 2026 International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP 2026), including electing a President-Elect, Treasurer, and Division President-Elects. Please read below to learn more about the election timelines.
IAAP President-Elect
Call for Nominations Now Open!
The President shall preside at meetings of the Officers and at meetings of the Board of Directors. The President shall authorize, electronically or otherwise general expenditure according to the budget adopted by the Board of Directors, adopt the suggested final agenda of business to be transacted at meetings, and call emergency meetings. The President shall stimulate, coordinate, and receive reports from the various appointed committees, cooperate with the other Executive Officers in the conduct of the affairs of the Association, and represent the Association as required.
The President-Elect shall deputize for the President as required.

IAAP Treasurer

The Treasurer shall keep the accounts of the Association and its Review; bank all fees received by the Association Office (including subscription fees to the Review), subsidies, and donations; present a budget proposal and a statement of accounts of the Association and the Review annually to the Board of Directors; make payments in accordance with the accepted budget; provide the other Officers with yearly statistical information on payment and non-payment of dues, and of subscription fees.
The Treasurer shall also see to it that congress accounts as well as the accounts of the IAAP and of the Review are audited by a certified public accountant, who will report to the Board of Directors and to the General Assembly of the Association.
Division President-Elect

IAAP has divisions and the members of each division are eligible for voting in their division if they have paid their IAAP membership dues for the year during which the election is held or for the year prior to the election year.
IAAP members can join up to four divisions of their choice when they become members or renew their membership, and students can join up to three divisions in addition to joining the student division. Therefore, IAAP members and IAAP student members may vote in more than one division.
Division 15 President

Members-at-Large

Constitution: Section 8.02: The Board of Directors shall consist of the Officers of the Association, i.e., the President, the President-Elect, the Past-President, the Secretary-General, the Treasurer, and any additional officers approved by the Board of Directors; the Presidents and Presidents-Elect of the Divisions; and not less than 24 and not more than 45 Members-at-large. Past presidents of the Association shall be honorary members of the Board of Directors without voting rights and their presence shall not be considered to determine the presence of a quorum
