Operations Center
Administration of IAAP takes place in its Operations Center. The staff is responsible for managing member records and operating the website. In addition, it supports the President, Secretary-General, Treasurer, all committees and task forces, 18 Divisions, and face-to-face and videoconference business meetings. The staff also assists in the administration of congresses and conferences and maintains the IAAP Archives.

History of the Operations Center
Need for an Operations Center. The need for improved administration of IAAP's affairs received close scrutiny from the Task Force on Strategic Planning following the Paris ICAP. Its report contained nine recommendations, the last one being "We should establish a full-time administrative office immediately after the Board of Directors votes its approval." The rationale for this recommendation was discussed during a pair of web briefings held on July 7, 2016.
Board Authorization. At its meeting in Yokohama on July 26, 2016, the Board of Directors of IAAP voted unanimously to establish an operations center to handle IAAP's administrative matters.
