TEAM BUILDING INTERVENTION TO IMPROVE TEAM CLIMATE FOR INNOVATION

The objective of this study is to measure the effectiveness of a team building intervention in the promotion of a climate for innovation in teams of teachers involved in a change process. Team climates were measured before and after the team building intervention. Aggregate perception in time 1 and time 2 are compared in 12 teams from three Portuguese schools. Six teams participated in a fifteen hours training course on team building. The other six worked as a team during the same period but didn't receive any training.
