RESEARCH ON EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES ON OPTIMIZING THE PERSONALITY FOR FEMALE STUDENTS OF RURAL MIDDLE SCHOOL

The questionnaire and interview methods were used to investigate the self- consciousness of 260 female students (and 220 male students as control group) of rural middle school. The results indicated that there were significant difference between sex on self-feeling, academic-ego and sex- ego for the students of rural middle school, and there were significant difference between grades on self-feeling, self-control and self-ideal. The educational strategies were put forward to optimize the personality of female students of rural middle school based on the above results of investigation on self-consciousness. For example, family, society and school education should work together; the discrimination on female from family, society and school should be eliminated, the wrong theories on sex difference be clarified, and the traditional concept on female should be changed; female students should be satisfied with their own sex; the female students' multiform personality of which both man and woman possess should be brought up. In sum, female students should be taught in accordance with their aptitude, and their mental diathesis focused on the characteristic of self-consciousness.
