Sentences compose of the main part of text. There are two different models on what relation exist of eyes fixation to information processing, including visual buffering processing model and eye-mind processing model. In this paper, subjects are in 3 grade and the 5 grade pupils. They are asked to read a narrative including 3 sentences, after reading text, subjects are asked answer 3 questions. A model 3200R eye tracker is used to recorded subject's fixation processing in the course of reading. The results showed that: (1)the fixation duration is different when the pupils gaze each sentence in the paragraph. The duration varied with the sentence function in the text. (2)the average duration of gazing the sentence formation varied with the number of information.(3)the duration pupils in 5 grade gaze sentence and each sentence formation is shorter than 3 grade pupils. In a word, we discuss the adaptation of two modes.
