This is a descriptive and comparative research with quasi-experimental design, N=4, where all 4 subjects are elite competitors in snowboard. The main goal is to analyse the Spanish National team Sportsman's behaviour of half- pipe, taking as reference different classificatory competitions for The Olympic Games of Salt Lake City 2002. Through POMS questionnaire is determined the fluctuations of the Mood-States dimensions: Tension, depression, hostility, vigour, fatigue and this is compared with the "Iceberg" profile, own of the high performance athletes. By another side, we will study the pre-competitive, cognitive and somatic Anxiety and the self- confidence, through CSAI 2 moments before each competition. The relations between vigour and self- confidence have been studied, and also between the negative Mood - States dimensions with the Anxiety and self- confidence. Results show the existence of a positive and significative relation among vigour and self-confidence, a negative and significative relation among vigour and somatic and cognitive Anxiety, and a differentiated relation Mon POMS dimensions with the Anxiety
