A STUDY OF CHINA WOMEN SOCCER PLAYER'S PRE-COMPETITION ANXIETY IN 26TH OLYMPIC GAMES

In this study, an anxiety test was conducted to the 19 players of China women soccer team who participating 26th Olympic Games with CSAI-2 revised by Jones and Swan. The result of test reveals that with the approach of the Games ,there was a significant increases in the intensity and frequency of Pre-competition state anxiety, also a significant change in the direction of cognitive anxiety; But no significant change was detected in body anxiety ,the intensity and frequency of self-confidence and the directional interpretation of body anxiety . when subjects were divided into two groups according to their sports skills , no significant different was found between them in both the intensity and frequency of the anxiety as well as in the directional interpretation of anxiety with the approach of the Games ; yet an interaction is identified between the time and performance in the frequency of their self -confidence.
