SURVEY AND ANALYSIS OF MENTAL HEALTH OF SEVEN-YEAR-TERM STUDENTS OF MILITARY MEDICAL UNIVERSITY IN CHINA

The Symptom Check List (SCL-90) was used to examine the mental health condition of 1269 seven-year-term students of military medical university in China. The results were compared with national norms, the five-year-term students of military medical university and the seven-year-term students of civil medical university. The results were as follows: 12.1% students showed various mental health problems. These mental health problems were focused on somatization, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoid ideation and psychotism. The mental health level of these students showed sex difference: mental health level of girls was higher than that of boys. There were many mental stress responses in the seven-year-term students of military medical university.
