INNOVATING BUSINESS PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAMS - THE EXAMPLE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES IN LUENEBURG/GERMANY

Business Psychology is an innovative program of studies at German universities. Within the field of psychology, the Department and the program concentrate on the areas of work and organizational psychology, industrial psychology and consumer behavior. The program is interdisciplinary and combines psychology with the study of business administration, law and other electives such as business English. The emphasis of the program on a specific area within psychology together with its interdisciplinary approach to teaching business administration and law improves the career opportunities for graduates. There are numerous possibilities to cooperate internationally and to work together with departments of Business Administration, Law and Business, Applied Automation Technology, Applied Social Services on business, legal, technical, and psychological-pedagogical topics. Students of these departments also may attend the same courses. International partners (e. g., universities, public and private organizations) are invited to cooperate.
