SITUATED COGNITION AS A STRATEGY FOR KNOWLEDGE ACQUISITION

This research has as objective to carry out and to analyze the inicidence of organizing social teaching in developing a learning curriculum. A revision of instructional strategies to construct new knowledege using cooperative learning in situated congnition were done Teachers from diferents disciplines that were in a postgrduate course used cooperative learning in a situated congnition. Results obtained reinforced the statement of situated congnition as an instructional strategy for learning. The participants used situated congnition as a comprehensive strategy for analysis related to a self regulated process of knowledge acquisition.Learning strategy as situated cognition were found to interact in predicting knowledge change.
