To study the correlation among Iranian students on STAXI-2 (Spielberger, 1999) and NEO-PR-I (Costa & McCrae, 1992) in the age-range of 20 to 27 years of age, data were collected from 100 females and 100 males. Pearson's correlations showed that among females Anger Expression Index was positively correlated with Neuroticism (r=. 45, p< 01), negatively correlated with Extraversion (-.33, p< 01) Agreeableness (-.43, p< 01) and Conscientiousness (-.33, p< 01). Among the males, N does not emerge as related to Anger-Expression Index, while E and O are negatively related to Anger-Expression Index (-.47, p< 01 and -.11, p< 05,) respectively. The results have been discussed in reference to earlier literature.
