My research
includes two streams of studies, one built around experimental studies of basic
processes and the other around applied field studies. Both streams of research
address how motivational and cognitive processes interact to influence
performance on complex tasks (such as managerial problem solving and decision
making tasks) within a social cognitive theory framework.
Regular recipient of competitive research grants from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and industry since 1983.
