DB&T4: 2009


The 4th International Conference in Driver Behaviour and Training will be held in Amsterdam in November 2009.  The first call for papers will be announced in January 2009.  Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and a selection of papers will be published by Ashgate in 2010.

ICAP27: 2010

 

The 27th International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP), at which Division 13 will be strongly represented – as at all Congresses since the Division’s formation, will be held in Melbourne, Australia, 11-16 July 2010.  The Congress will be held in the New Melbourne Convention Centre, which is still under construction and which will be a very impressive conference venue.


Division 13 themes will be represented in a state-of-the-art keynote address and two other keynote addresses.  Other forms of presentation include symposia (each including 4 or 5 papers and a discussant), open papers, poster sessions, panel sessions, debates, and workshops.  Traffic and transportation psychology papers can be submitted under a number of broad themes, including: Research Methodology (e.g., simulation, observation); Key Variables (e.g., personality, culture); Problems and Violations (e.g., speeding, fatigue); Risk Reduction Measures (e.g., enforcement, intelligent systems); Vulnerable Road Users (e.g., younger drivers, pedestrians); General (e.g., theoretical approaches, public health issues).

 ICTTP5: 2012

 

A decision on the host country, venue and dates for the 5th International Conference on Traffic and Transport Psychology will be made early in 2009.  Expressions of interest are invited until that time.  Contact an Executive Committee member with your suggestions or proposals.
